We’ll be in the BFI Riverfront, the bar/cafe in the British Film Institute under Waterloo Bridge, facing the river. Look out for the Rubik’s Cube on our table.
There will be an introduction to Citizens’ Climate Lobby for any newcomers followed by a discussion of our campaigning strategy. With climate change more on the agenda than ever before and a general election imminent, we need to nudge the focus towards viable policy solutions, specifically our carbon fee and dividend proposal. How this would be implemented depends very much on whether or not we’re part of the European Union, though it could work on a UK level or on an EU level.
Note, Citizens’ Climate Lobby doesn’t take a position on Brexit, but it is significant when it comes to carbon pricing (and pretty much everything else).
